we are coming to the end of July, thus the end of my summer vacation. As I was browsing for Adam's anniversary gift someone asked how old Brady was. His size still throw a lot of people off. I guess I would be more than amazed too if I saw a child who looked 6 months old was talking like a 2 year old. It was then that it hit me-he is almost 18 months old! I went through these pictures and realized how much older he is starting to look. I credit it to his mouth-full of teeth.
Brady has been quite the little traveller this summer. We spent a little over a week vacationing from the Atlantic coast to the Blue Ridge Mountains. The beach trip was a very special one for my mom, myself and some of the cousins. We revisited a place of our childhood summers, Ocean Anna Hotel. Growing up, this run down beachfront hotel was the highlight of our summer. What a perfect place for kids! Going again as an adult was a totally different experience for me, but we whole-heartedly enjoyed watching the kids fall in love with the same Ocean Anna that we remember from our own childhood.

Our favorite time was meal time with lots of fresh veggies from Dad and Jill's garden. Any time corn was presented, it was quite a gruesome scene. Viewer discretion is advised.

After a quick regrouping at home, Brady and I ventured back out the door and headed to the mountains to stay a few days with Dad and Jill. We were even able to stop near Ashville and pick up my niece, Peyton. It was a relaxing trip spent by the lake, the playground and on the back porch.

Brady has had a fab summer, and I have had just as fun working on the house and spending time with my boys. Soon there will be a home make-over post once I have finished a few other things. Until then, Brady is at Poppy and Dee Dee's and Adam and I are heading out Wednesday for the beach to enjoy our 3 year anniversary!!! Whoot Whoot!
